Welcome to Style University!

It is my sincere desire to create a space where fashionistas and style hopefuls can come and get tips and inspiration on beauty and clothes-- fads, classics, and trends.

I love fashion magazines! Every week, I'm bringing a new issue home from the drug store. But I know that they can be a bit one sided--every model on every page either wears a size 2 or a 22. And when popular publications feature an article on a style for "every woman," poor plus-sized divas get lumped into one category...round. HOGWASH!!! I am a working woman, married to a working man and although I'd love to take trips to Milan and stroll the streets of Paris looking for the perfect couture gown; my money is not that long--YET!

It is important that all women, all shapes, all sizes, all colors, and all backgrounds know how to dress their body on their income. When we feel good about ourselves and how we look, it will boost our self-confidence. Women who are self-confident raise daughters with high self-esteem and sons who are respectful of the unique beauty within a woman.

So, divas and DITs (Divas in Training) it is time to begin your Style-U-Cation! Class is in session!!
